French Dining in CUILLÈRE, Serendra

CUILLÈRE (kwee-yer), meaning spoon, is a French brasserie in Serendra serving comfort French food.
This is one of my FAVORITE restaurants of all time!
To start of, waiters serve bread with creamy herbed butter.
The bread has a crunchy outer layer while it is soft and full inside.

We ordered this mouth-watering FOIE GRAS salad as our appetizer — two slices of pan-seared foie gras with raspberry-infused port wine reduction. (Php 1,295).
It is a bit pricey but the amount of joy it brings is PRICELESS!!!

Mark Davis ordered the TENDERLOIN STEAK WITH BLUE CHEESE SAUCE
(Canada – Php 575; US – Php 975)
The tender beef was served on a bed of spinach and artichokes with blue cheese sauce, which complimented the taste of beef in all sorts of ways.
It was highly pleasing =)

Marianne had the SEABASS ON BLACK INK RISOTTO (Php 795)
It was delightful but I’ve had better 🙂

Mine was GRILLED LAMB BROCHETTE (Php 495) — grilled lamb skewers with ratatouille mint rice.
This was just okay. I was expecting a minty taste in the rice but it was very subtle.

I still prefer the DUCK CONFIT  (Php 795) over the GRILLED LAMB 🙂

If you’re planning on dining here, just make sure you’re ready to shell out more than the usual, but rest assured that it will be a fabulous treat! 🙂

  2. All the photos of foods that you post look so great. What is most amazing in those foods are their arrangement and presentation. It makes all those foods looks so attractive.
