Eat Well! Delicious Kitchen

We wanted to try another Chinese restaurant for my Aunt’s birthday celebration and EAT WELL at The Fort was a great choice, except for the fact that they have poor service :p

It was a busy night and we’re glad we made a  reservation 🙂
We were seated at the second floor, at the red couch area 🙂

For starters, we ordered the FRIED SHRIMP PUFF with WASABI DRESSING (Php 288 for 8 pcs)
It was a winner!!!! The wasabi sauce was perfect with the shrimp puff! YUM!!!

Next food to arrive: BIRTHDAY NOODLES (Php 248)
Of course, no Chinese birthday dinner would be complete without it!

The HOT PRAWNS VEGETABLE SALAD (Php 320) was also good 🙂

We also ordered one of our favorites: STEAMED SHRIMP DUMPLINGS (HAKAO) (Php 130)

SWEET and SOUR PORK (Php 180) was okay as well.
but the best sweet and sour pork I have ever tried was from PASSION RESTAURANT

YANG CHOW FRIED RICE (Php 155) was very tasty!!!

The FRIED STRING BEANS with MINCED PORK (Php 160) was superb!!!
It was crunchy and super yummy!!!  This reminds me of Eric Carle’s “Today is Monday” book 🙂

The SLICED BEEF with BROCCOLI in OYSTER SAUCE (Php 250) was also very tasty.
The meat was tender and the broccoli was crunchy 🙂

Crowd favorite: MASACHI with WHITE CHOCOLATE (Php 58)
It was too sweet for me but it’s good 🙂 It’s one of the resto’s best-sellers!!!

Masachi lovers:
Lilan – a certified Masachi fanatic!
Xavier – Masachi grabber

I was too excited to try this since it’s one of my favorite desserts as a child.
Eat Well’s version tastes more like sago’t gulaman though 🙂 but it’s okay.

Another yummy dessert!!! with bilo-bilo

The foods were delish but the service was unsatisfactory!
They don’t have table assignments for waiters so we had to follow-up different requests from different staffs.
Utensils needed to be asked from the staffs at least twice!!! as well as napkins and water!
I am just assuming that maybe it was indeed a busy night and MAYBE the staffs were not yet fully trained that’s why 🙂

wow. definitely mouth watering! reminded me of northpark. I'm not always in Manila but we always make it a point to visit it whenever we're in the city. the desserts all look yum!
