August 8, 2010 by jotan23

This was our last day in Coron.
What to do? What to do?

We stopped by the city hall for picture taking.
Then off to buy CASHEW NUTS for pasalubong!!!
You MUST ask the tricycle driver to bring you to PANTALAN.  LITA ESCARDA’S CORON HARVEST is the best in CORON.

It’s tedious to make a roasted cashew nut.
First, they have to open up the Cashew Fruit to get the nuts inside. Then, they have to dry them up before individually removing the skin, and so on.
This is probably the reason why it’s expensive.
(Php 600 per kilo)

After buying our pasalubongs, it’s now time to head to the Busuanga Airport.
I couldn’t help but notice the “VIP” Lounge
I am not sure if the aircon was turned on 🙂
Boarding time….
We love the CORON VIEW from above
I wonder what island this is.

Upon reaching the MANILA Airport, we were all so hungry so we went to ARISTOCRAT 🙂
CRISPY FRIED SQUID (Php 141) – soooooooooooooooo gooooooooooooooood!!!

PORK SISIG (Php 172) – sarap to the last bite!!!! great with Garlic Rice (Php 35)

BONELESS CHICKEN BARBEQUE (Php 149) – best chicken barbeque in the Philippines!!! with their special sweet peanut sauce 🙂

BEEF KALDERETA (Php 335) – beef was really tender and tasty 🙂

BEEF DINUGUAN (Php 206) – definitely NOT cheap but this is truly the BEST DINUGUAN EVER!!!!
