Cheap Stay in Coron near the port

August 10, 2010 by jotan23

This was the simple guesthouse where we stayed in CORON.
It’s located at MALVAR ST. corner RIZAL ST. (walking distance from LAMBINGAN BRIDGE)

(with 2 QUEEN SIZE BEDS in each room)
Nothing fancy, but still okay 🙂
Bed was comfortable
and Air-conditioning system worked GREAT 🙂

Each room has its own shower room.

If you like to cook your own meals, the guesthouse has a KITCHEN as well 🙂
A DINING TABLE and SALA is also ready for use.

RENTAL FEE is only Php 2,500 per night, which is VERY cheap for a comfortable stay in CORON.

Coron is simply paradise ..thank you for sharing this experience with us. I hope me and my husband can get the same fun when we travel to coron this september 5-8. Is it best or cheap to avail tour packages that offered by the resort/Inn instead of doing our own itinerary? looking forward for your reply.. you can contact me at

    Hi GKO,
if marami kayo, sulit ang magrent out ng boat 🙂
if 2-4 lang kyo, better ata to get the tour package of Coron Gateway Hotel 🙂

hi! this blog is very helpful. i am planning to bring my family to coron on october. actually, i booked a flight already. anyway, can the guesthouse cater to 10pax for the same price of 2500? and do u think for our group it is more advisable to avail packages instead of having a DIY trip, just like what u did? for a DIY trip u think haggling is possible?=) i have so many questions, just excited for the trip. thanks anyway. hope to hear from u!

I think the guesthouse can accommodate 10 pax for the same price 🙂

I think a DIY trip will be cheaper since you're a big group but you will have to rent 2 boats 🙂
